Delete your chat identity
Apps built on Hospitappity don't need an account. The only account-like thing they ever create is a nameless chat identity, and only if you open the in-app chat. This page explains how to delete it.
In the app
- Open the app and go to the chat.
- Open Chat settings.
- Tap Delete my chat identity and confirm.
This deletes your chat identity and the display name and messages tied to it right away. Reports other people made about messages are kept, with a copy of the reported message, so staff can still act on them. If you turned on notifications, they keep working — turn them off separately in the app's settings.
By email
If you can't use the app — for example, you've already uninstalled it — email us with the name of the app and the display name you used in chat. We'll delete the matching chat identity and confirm by reply.
